July 2007. Alpine Glass and Mirror begins its work on The Arrabelle at Vail Square which is a luxurious hotel and condominium that combines the timeless elegance of Europe’s grand resorts with the romance and world-class style of Vail’s alpine heritage. Alpine Glass and Mirror was selected by Shaw Construction to install shower doors, mirrors and custom glass at this project.
June 2007. Alpine Glass completes its work on One Willow Bridge Road. Alpine Glass and Mirror was selected by Weitz Company to install shower doors and mirrors on the high-end residences.
May 2007. Alpine Glass completes its work at Vail Plaza Hotel and Condominiums. Alpine Glass and Mirror was selected by Shaw Construction to install the shower doors and mirrors at this high end project at the entrance to Vail Village.
April 2007. Alpine glass signs a contract to provide shower doors, mirrors and custom glass to the Westin Riverfront Resort and Spa in Avon at the entrance to Beaver Creek. This project will include a high-end hotel, spa and private residences at the center of the new riverfront community in Avon that will include a gondola to the base of Beaver Creek. GE Johnson selected Alpine Glass and Mirror to provide all interior glazing.
March 2007. Dudley Pinion announces the completion of the new showroom. It includes 5 shower stalls using many different types of hinges and glasses allowing for customers to get a real education on what types of shower enclosures are available. Plus, we have hand selected the tile from what we have seen in Vail area new homes allowing for consumers to even get ideas on tile selection while visiting our showroom.
October 2006. Alpine Glass moves into its new Avon location. The company simply outgrew its location after over 30 years in the same Minturn location. The new location is centrally located off of I-70 and allows us fast and easy access anywhere in the Valley. June 2006. Alpine completes its work at Gore Creek residences. Alpine was selected by RA Nelson to install the shower doors and mirrors at this high-end project.
May 2006. Alpine is pleased to announce the addition of Mark Weaver to our team of glaziers. Mark has over 20 years experience on large commercial jobs in the Dallas area. His experience will allow Alpine to expand its reach into store front and curtain wall systems. Plus we can store our trucks inside at night allowing for efficient loading in the morning. The new location has very nice offices and a large showroom.
April 2006. Alpine completes its work at a large private residence for RA Nelson. Alpine provided shower doors, mirrors, glass staircase and custom glass closest doors. At a final meeting, most subcontractors were given punch lists to complete. Alpine’s work was of such high quality that no punch list was given to them.
March 2006. Alpine Glass and Mirror is selected by Aidan’s Meadows to install shower doors and mirror in their Eagle Ranch development. This development includes 56 single family homes and approximately 12 duplexes.
December 2005. Alpine Glass and Mirror is selected to provide shower doors and mirrors to Sky Legend which is nestled in the hillside above Cotton Ranch. Sky Legend offers the luxury and privacy of a golf course community lifestyle, with affordability and uncompromising design not found anywhere else in the Vail Valley. Sky Legend plans on building approximately 250 single family homes with a completion date estimated to be in 2009.
November 2005. Alpine Glass and Mirror is selected to install the shower doors and mirrors into the model homes of the new Brightwater Ranch. We are also selected by Vail Valley Custom Builders to install shower doors and mirrors into any homes they build in this new development that includes a golf course and many outdoor amenities.
June 2005. Alpine Glass and Mirror becomes the Vail Valley’s exclusive Tekon applicator. Tekon is a glass coating that bonds with the glass to make it super hydrophobic and easy to clean. This results in reduced spotting on shower doors and allows for cleaning with an organic cleaner that reduces cleaning time by up to 50% and helps keep your home healthier.
March 2003. Alpine adds 3M window film tinting to its product line. Owner, Jerry Healey said, “Alpine has been trained and certified by 3M to install its full line of window film products.” As a leader in both adhesive and film technologies, 3M brings together these disciplines to create the finest products available for residential, commercial, government and automotive use. 3M Window Films provide an elegant, yet practical means for solving many of the most challenging aspects of managing sun control and security issues surrounding the use of your home, car or business.
January 2003. Alpine re-enters the auto glass business.
February 2003. Glazier Cesar Rascon attends week-long NGA Auto Glass Technical Institute
February 2003. Glazier Cesar Rascon passes NGA auto glass replacement certification test. Only auto glass technician in the area to be NGA certified.
April 2003. Alpine Glass & Mirror announces the acquisition of Alpha Mirror and Glass of Eagle. Alpha Glass was started and owned by Dudley Pinon, a former Alpine employee. Alpha made a name for itself by providing personal one-on-one service and by installing creative shower doors. And Pinon continues to work at Apline as General Manager. "This allows Alpine to increase its product offerings with the American Shower door line, plus brings in Dudley's 20-plus years of experience," Alpine owner Jerry Healey said. "This is a great acquisition for Alpine Glass & Mirror."
August 2003. Alpine Glass & Mirror announces the acquisition of Maverick Glass and Shower of Eagle. Maverick Glass and Shower was started and owned by Bill Rickert, a former Alpine employee. Maverick became known for working with high-end, demanding clients and exceeding expectations. Rickert also will provide long-term consulting services. Said Rickert: "I approached Alpine because I wanted my customers to be serviced in the same manner they were under my ownership." Alpine owner Jerry Healey said "that by buying Maverick, we move into the very high end of the shower door market.
September 2003. Alpine adds Milgard Windows to its product offerings. Milgard is the most respected name for vinyl replacement windows. This gives customers the choice of replacing only the glass or the entire window unit. Milgard's reputation and customer support are second to none in the industry.
January 2004. Alpine obtains the shower door contract for Horizon Pass Lodge II, a R.A. Nelson project. Horizon Pass Lodge is a ski-in, ski-out project in Bachelor Gulch, part of Beaver Creek.
